Introduction to Long Term Care & Support Services Management in New Brunswick
This introductory course is designed for managers of support service departments to introduce the long-term care system in New Brunswick and principles of supervision, leadership, human resource management and staff engagement.
Long Term Care Clinical Shift Supervisor Training
This foundational course provides direction to clinical shift supervisors in long term care settings. The target audience is RN’s and LPN’s working in long term care settings. Designed for nurses with duties related to staff oversight and unit supervision. Information is targeted to staff who have supervisory duties in their daily workload.
New Brunswick Nursing Home Administrator Course
This course is designed for current and aspiring leaders in the nursing home sector, offering a deep dive into the essential knowledge, skills, and strategies required to excel in the dynamic field of long-term care management. Participants will gain actionable insights and practical tools to ensure the highest standards of care.
The NB Nursing Home Learning Campus education team is made up of seasoned long-term care professionals with deep clinical and leadership expertise. Our educators bring real-world experience, evidence-informed practice, and a commitment to person-centred care to every course, so you can build practical skills and use them with confidence in your day-to-day work.


The courses are for long-term care professionals working in a New Brunswick nursing home, including new and emerging leaders, shift supervisors, support services managers, and administrators who want to build their skills and confidence in their role.
The Learning Campus offers leadership-focused courses for the nursing home sector, including the New Brunswick Long Term Care Nursing Leadership Foundations Course, Introduction to Long Term Care and Support Services Management in New Brunswick, New Brunswick Nursing Home Administrator Course and the Long Term Care Shift Supervisor Training.
To apply, you need to live and work in New Brunswick and be employed in a nursing home. Staff working in special care homes, or outside New Brunswick, are not eligible at this time.

The Learning Campus is funded by the Department of Social Development and federal funding, making it accessible for all eligible long-term care professionals in New Brunswick.
