Jessica Chisholm is a seasoned Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience in clinical and managerial roles across diverse healthcare settings. Beginning her career in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Jessica quickly advanced to specialized positions, including roles at The Genrose Rehabilitation Hospital, where she provided care for orthopedic and neurotrauma amputee patients. She later transitioned to long-term care, serving as a Care Manager for a dementia unit and subsequently advancing to Site Manager of a facility for medically complex young adults. Jessica’s dedication to quality care and strong relationship-building skills have been integral throughout her journey, from bedside care to overseeing complex patient populations.

Recently, Jessica has returned to New Brunswick, bringing her wealth of expertise in long-term care to her home province. Her recent role as Project Manager for Complex Coordination with Alberta Health Services involved managing admissions and coordinating care for enhanced support units, where she collaborated closely with stakeholders, families, and clients to navigate complex healthcare needs. Jessica’s skills in disaster planning, risk management, recruitment, and incident investigation underscore her commitment to elevating standards of care. Her return to New Brunswick represents a valuable addition to the province’s long-term care sector, where she is eager to contribute her knowledge and passion for patient-centered care.
