Course Overview:
This foundational course provides direction to clinical shift supervisors in long-term care settings. The target audience is RNs and LPNs working in long-term care settings.
- Designed for nurses with duties related to staff oversight and unit supervision
- Information is targeted to staff who have supervisory duties in their daily workload
Course Dates:
Language of instruction: English and French options
Course Format:
The course is delivered online including:
- Prep work completed online
- Follow exercise online
- Certification
Course Expectations:
Participants are required to complete all online work. The course is a pass/fail grading format and support from the instructor is provided to encourage student success.
Upon successful completion of this course, students are awarded the certificate of “Long Term Care Shift Supervisor Course”.
