Presenter Bio:
Odette Comeau Lavoie
Odette Comeau Lavoie is a Registered Nurse. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Université de Moncton in 1988 and later completed a Masters in Adult Education at St Francis Xavier University in 2008. Originally from Néguac NB where she began her nursing career, Ms Comeau Lavoie lived in Fredericton for 25 years before semi-retiring in Charlotte County.
Ms Comeau Lavoie worked briefly in hospital before finding a niche in Public Health where she worked for 16 years in both rural and urban settings. Her interest in quality improvement and policy development provided a springboard for her work as a regulatory consultant with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick where she worked in nursing regulation for 12 years. In 2017, she began employment as Principal Nursing Advisor with the Department of Health where she provided consult to the department on all nursing related affairs until her retirement in 2021.
Ms Comeau Lavoie continues to provide professional and competent nursing consultation in her work with Beacon Clinical Group. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and is fluently bilingual.
