Jessica HowlettOn March 24th, 2025, New Brunswick Nursing Home Learning Campus (powered by Beacon Clinical Group) hosted a session in our Documentation Series: “Back to the Basics: Momentum Overview and Implementation”. This webinar featured April Connor, RN, RAI Coordinator at Loch Lomond Villa in Saint John, and was supported by live French translation to ensure accessibility across the province.
April brought clarity and practical guidance to the complex landscape of Momentum implementation in New Brunswick long-term care homes. Her session offered a timely refresher on system functionality, best practices for consistent documentation, and tips for aligning Momentum with person-centred care principles. It was especially relevant for LTCF Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, RNs, LPNs, and LPN Rehabilitation Assistants.
Since 2017, April has played a central role in leading Momentum at her home and supporting broader quality improvement efforts across New Brunswick. Her experience, insight, and leadership continue to shape documentation practices in the province—and we’re grateful she shared her expertise in this webinar.
